Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s FA Cup fixtures:

Newcastle United v Brighton & Hove Albion – Sunday, 1.45pm

  • Newcastle United have won this competition six times before but not since 1955, they’ll be hoping this year they can secure a cup double having secured their place in the EFL Cup final already.
  • The Magpies put themselves in the top four mix with a victory against Nottingham Forest last weekend but following a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday evening, Eddie Howe’s side have slipped to sixth.
  • Newcastle will be aware of their recent form against Brighton, having not beaten the Seagulls in their last three meetings.
    ——————————–
  • Brighton have been in really good form of that, following that humiliating 7-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the start of February, they’ve now won four on the bounce in all competitions.
  • Brighton haven’t won five in a row across all competitive competitions since their EFL Championship days in 2017.
  • The Seagulls won the league fixture here between these two in October 1-0.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Newcastle United to win, Newcastle United 2-1 Brighton.

Manchester United v Fulham – Sunday, 4.30pm

  • A catalogue of errors from Manchester United on Wednesday night resulted in them going into the half-time break at 2-2 against Ipswich Town with ten men, a solid second half display gave United a hard-earned three points.
  • Thirteen-time FA Cup winners Man United just look so low in confidence at the moment, it’s tough to see them defending the FA Cup trophy they won back in May.
  • The good news for Ruben Amorim’s side is they’ve already beaten Fulham twice this season in the league, both with a scoreline of 1-0.
    ——————————–
  • Fulham are a side that haven’t had any success in this competition, their only FA Cup final came back in 1975 in which they were beaten 2-0 by West Ham.
  • The Cottagers should be full of confidence though, having lost just one of their last five games and currently on a winning streak of four consecutive games away from home in all competitions, they haven’t won five in a row since 2018.
  • Fulham have scored in all but one of their away games this season in all competitions, that blank came in their opening league game here at Old Trafford.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Fulham (Manchester United To Win In Extra Time), Both Teams To Score & Draw.
