Day 2 of the Grand National Festival, known as Ladies Day, features another four Grade 1 contests, The William Hill Handicap Hurdle, and the prestigious Topham Chase and Sefton.

Randox Grand National Day – Saturday 5 April 2025
Grand National Day promises top-class racing action, kicking off with the competitive William Hill Handicap Hurdle before novice hurdlers battle it out in the Turners Mersey Novices’ Hurdle (G1).
The staying chasers then take centre stage in the William Hill Handicap Chase, leading into the prestigious Liverpool Hurdle (G1) for top-class stayers.
The highlight of the day, the Randox Grand National (4m 2½f), sees a full field tackle the iconic Aintree fences in a bid for racing immortality. The Maghull Novices’ Chase (G1) showcases speed over fences, while the Weatherbys NH Flat Race (G2) closes the festival with future stars in the making.
