Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixtures:
Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, 1.30pm
- Fulham failed to build on their FA Cup success at Old Trafford as they suffered their eighth defeat in the league away at Brighton on Saturday.
- Marco Silva’s side will still have ambitions of finishing the season in a European spot, they sit tenth prior to this game, just five points behind the top six.
- Fulham’s record here against Spurs isn’t great, they’ve won just one of their last nine meetings at Craven Cottage, the reverse fixture finished 1-1 back in December.
——————————– - Tottenham kept their UEFA Europa League dreams alive on Thursday night with a 3-1 victory against AZ Alkmaar, progressing 3-2 on aggregate.
- With Spurs currently sixteen points from the top seven prior to this weekends action, Europa League success is now their priority and should aiming to finish in the top half of the PL.
- Spurs have lost seven of their thirteen away games in the league this season but they’ve won six of their last seven league games at this stadium.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Fulham 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur.
Leicester City v Manchester United – Sunday, 7pm
- Leicester City are really struggling under Ruud van Nistelrooy, they’ve won just one of their last fourteen Premier League games, leaving them up against it in terms of PL safety.
- The Foxes are six points from safety before any of this weekends Premier League action takes place, they could see that gap extend before this fixture if results go against them.
- Leicester City have already played Man United three times this season, they’ve lost all three. Foxes have actually lost five of their last six against United.
——————————– - Manchester United confirmed their place in the Europa League quarter-finals with an impressive 4-1 victory against Real Sociedad on Thursday night.
- La Real had to play the last thirty minutes with 10 men but don’t take anything away from United’s performance, probably the best we’ve seen under Ruben Amorim so far.
- The Red Devils should be full of confidence heading to the King Power on Sunday and even though a victory wouldn’t yet take them into the top half of the table, it’s all about momentum for this side at the moment.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Man United To Win, Leicester City 1-2 Manchester United.
