Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Friday’s Premier League fixture:
Manchester City v Wolves – Friday, 8pm
- Despite a highly disappointing season given their recent success, Manchester City have confirmed their spot in this seasons FA Cup final and they’re within the top five of the Premier League, a Champions League qualification spot is still on the cards.
- This tends to be the time that Pep Guardiola’s side really find some form and that’s exactly what they’ve done during this campaign, the blues are now unbeaten in their last eight games across all competitions, whilst they’ve won each of their last three Premier League matches.
- Man City should be confident of three points in this one given they’ve lost just once here to Wolves in their last twelve meetings, whilst they also won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in October.
——————————– - Wolves have made a bit of club history in the last couple of weeks, they’ve now won each of their last six Premier League games which is their best run in the top-flight since all the way back in 1970, they sit second in the form table from the last ten PL outings, only Liverpool have a better record.
- It’s a run of form which has seen the Old Gold climb up the table rapidly having previously flirted with relegation for the majority of their campaign, they sit thirteenth now ahead of both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
- Wolves could well find themselves on the scoresheet at least here, they’ve scored in fourteen of their seventeen PL away games so far (82%), whilst they’ve scored in each of their last six away trips, including games against Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Manchester City To Win, Man City 3-1 Wolves.
