Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixture:
Chelsea v Liverpool – Sunday, 4.30pm
- Chelsea secured back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since early March with victories over Fulham and Everton, two results which keep the Blues within the top five (at the time of writing) but with just three points separating them from seventh, there’s no room for error with just four games left to play.
- Enzo Maresca’s side have been favourites to take home the UEFA Conference League since their competition started and they are well on their way to doing just that, after a 4-1 away victory in Sweden against Djurgarden on Thursday evening in the semi-final first leg.
- Chelsea are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in their last three Premier League meetings with Liverpool, although all three ended in stalemates, with 2018 the last time the Blues beat the Reds here in the league.
——————————– - With just two defeats in the league so far, it’s no surprise to see Liverpool confirmed as Premier League champions with four games still to play, it’s twenty-times now for the Reds, putting them level with their rivals from across the M62, Manchester United.
- Liverpool have the best away record in the Premier League so far, having taken thirty-eight points from a possible fifty-one, their only defeat away from home in the PL this campaign did come in West London, a 3-2 defeat to Fulham at the start of April.
- There’s no doubt these players will have enjoyed some celebrations this week, Arne Slot will be hoping they’ll be no hangovers and their performance levels don’t drop, i’m not so sure.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool.
