Remember Monday will represent the United Kingdom at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel on Saturday 17th May but it could be a night to forget for the former Voice UK girl group.
If you enjoy a bet on the underdog, William Hill punters can back Remember Monday to win this year’s competition at 50/1 though the group are as short as 10/1 in betting markets to emulate James Newman’s performance in 2021 by scoring zero points.
The country-pop trio of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steel formed at school over 10 years ago and showed immense grit and determination to stay together during difficult periods.
Even after success on The Voice in 219, Charlotte returned to her job as a deputy head teacher while Lauren and Holly-Anne have appeared in West End shows but Eurovision 2025 could give them the platform to push on and hit even greater heights.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “With the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest taking place this weekend, we make Sweden’s entry KAJ even-money favourites to win the competition.
“Among the outsiders are the United Kingdom at a massive 50/1. Remember Monday could have a Saturday night to forget as we make them 9/4 to finish bottom of the pile and 10/1 to match James Newman’s 2021 performance and score zero points.”
While Sweden are up there in Eurovision 2025 outright odds, the UK will be hoping to improve on recent performances. Sam Ryder is the only British act in the last 14 competitions to finish in the top 10 and that would be some result for Remember Monday.
