Premier League Darts Night 15 Preview: Humphries to sparkle in Aberdeen

This week the Premier League Darts tour heads to Aberdeen, where tungsten takes centre stage in the Granite and Silver City.
We are now into Week 15 and there is not a lot of time left for those outside the top four to make their moves, while the Play-Offs are now within touching distance for those occupying the top spots.
There are no Scottish players in the Premier League this year, but the Aberdeen crowd will no doubt produce a vibrant atmosphere and make it a night to remember for the eventual winners.
We preview Night 15 below.
Michael van Gerwen v Nathan Aspinall
The opening match in Aberdeen is the most important. Michael van Gerwen, currently fourth in the table, takes on Nathan Aspinall, who sits fifth. Just one point separates these two and making it through this quarter-final will be huge for their Play-Off chances.
Despite having failed to win a single night so far, MVG is the 8/13 for this match-up, while Aspinall, who has one night win to his name, is the 13/10 underdog. Both of these will need to bring their best and be willing to take a chance. If a bull finish is on the cards they may not be able to turn it down, which could play nicely into Wayne Mardle’s pick of Over 2 Bull Finishes In The Quarter Finals Session, which we’ve boosted from 4/1 to 5/1.
Gerwyn Price v Stephen Bunting
Gerwyn Price finds himself in a cozy position having already confirmed his spot at the O2. He sits third in the table and is unsurprisingly favourite to beat Stephen Bunting at 4/6. Bunting has had somewhat of a resurgence after his poor start and is by no means out of this contest at 6/5.
Bunting has nothing to play for other than pride while Price will be trying to keep himself in hot form heading into the Play-Offs. Price to complete the Match Treble and win the match, have the highest match checkout and hit the most 180s is boosted to 5/1.
Chris Dobey v Rob Cross
Chris Dobey v Rob Cross isn’t a match that will have any bearing on the Play-Offs, but these two will want to rack up as many points as possible to strengthen their claims to be included in next year’s Premier League. This looks a very tough one to call, with both players priced at 10/11 for the win.
With little to lose, both players will be looking to put on a show. We could see a few Big Fish setups here as they look to please the crowd. Wayne Mardle’s pick of At Least 1 170 Finish In The Quarter Finals Session, which we’ve boosted from 7/2 to 9/2, could well land in this quarter-final.
Luke Littler v Luke Humphries
The last quarter-final of Night 15 is a repeat of Night 14’s final, which ultimately saw Luke Humphries emerge in front of his home crowd in Leeds against Luke Littler. That was Humphries’ third night win of the season and he’s Wayne Mardle’s pick to win again here. We’ve boosted Mardle’s pick of Luke Humphries Night 15 Outright Winner from 4/1 to 5/1.
