According to sports betting odds at William Hill, Kevin Sinfield and Rory McIlroy head the betting to be knighted by The King this summer and the full list of Sirs and Dames will be confirmed later this month.

Sinfield, the former captain of rugby league giants Leeds Rhinos, is the market leader at 3/1 to receive a knighthood while McIlroy is a 4/1 chance after completed the golfing career Grand Slam with victory in the 2025 US Masters at Augusta National.

Pop star Robbie Williams is available at 12/1 while three stalwarts for the Lionesses – Millie Bright, Fran Kirby and Mary Earps – are priced at 20/1 to receive a damehood.

Gary Lineker has been in the news recently and he is a 25/1 chance to feature on the King’s Honours list while Harry Kane and Joe Root are both 33/1 chances to be knighted.

With Oasis reforming this summer, William Hill are pricing brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher up at 100/1 to be knighted by King Charles III while Nigel Farage is available at the same price.

“The pair are ahead in the market by some distance, with Robbie Williams next at 12/1. Having retired from international football, Mary Earps and Fran Kirby are 20/1, alongside ex-teammate Millie Bright (20/1).

“Following the footballing trend, ex-player Gary Lineker is 25/1 to be knighted, followed by England Men’s captain Harry Kane (33/1) and Joe Root (33/1). Dan Cole is an outsider to receive a knighthood at 50/1, while Nigel Farage, Liam and Noel Gallagher round off the betting as long shots at 100/1.”
