Kylian Mbappe heads the Player of the Tournament betting at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and we look at some of the other leading contenders for the award.

The Real Madrid star heads the market at 7/2 to win the Player of the Tournament award this summer, ahead of teammate Vinicius Junior (5/1) and Paris Saint-Germain duo Ousmane Dembele (11/2) and Desire Doue (8/1).

  • Vinicius Junior – 5/1
  • Ousmane Dembele – 11/2
  • Desire Doue – 13/2

With PSG thumping Inter Milan 5-0 in the 2024/25 Champions League final, it comes as no surprise to see the Ligue 1 giants prominent in the outright winner market. The French outfit are currently 4/1 to win the competition, making them joint-favourites alongside Real Madrid.

Despite a sub-standard domestic campaign, Manchester City are next up in the betting at 5/1 to lift the trophy this summer. Punters can back Bayern Munich at 13/2 in sports betting markets while Chelsea are a 10/1 chance after their Europa Conference League triumph.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Since PSG lifted the Champions League, we’ve seen a huge uptick in support for them to go all the way in the Club World Cup. They were 14/1 when we opened this market back in December, but they’ve now been cut to 4/1 and are easily our worst result.

“Real Madrid are proving popular also priced at 4/1, and Man City’s early summer activity has them back in the conversation at 5/1. But PSG are the ones punters want to be with.

“Elsewhere in the market, Bayern Munich follow at 13/2, with Chelsea next at 10/1. Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan round out the main contenders, both priced at 14/1.

“With PSG and Real Madrid both expected to go deep into the tournament, it’s no surprise to see their stars dominating the Golden Ball market. Kylian Mbappe has been well backed and is our clear favourite at 7/2. If Madrid go all the way, it’s hard to see the award going elsewhere.”
