Royal Ascot 2025: King Charles Tie Odds

What colour tie will King Charles wear on Day 1 at the 2025 Royal Ascot meeting? We look at the market ahead of the opening day on Tuesday 17th June 2025.
While the racing takes centre stage at the Berkshire track, there will be plenty of eagle-eyed fans looking out for King Charles and Queen Camilla in the Royal Procession.
Before the stalls have even opened for the first race of the day, some punters may be feeling flush – with William Hill offering odds on the colour of both the King’s tie and the Queen’s hat.
Ahead of the feature meeting of the flat season, William Hill are offering sports betting odds of 7/4 for King Charles to don a blue tie on Day 1 at Royal Ascot while punters can back pink at 5/2 and yellow at 4/1.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Tuesday at Royal Ascot marks the 200th anniversary of the Royal Procession, and with King Charles and Queen Camilla set to make an appearance, speculation is mounting around the colour of the king’s tie and the queen’s hat.
“Blue is the favoured colour in the betting for that of Charles’ tie, with pink slightly longer at 5/2. Yellow is considered a 4/1 shot – the same price as royal runner Reaching High in Tuesday’s Ascot Stakes.”
