How Will The ‘Big 6’ Fare In Early Stages Of 2025/26 Premier League Season?

According to football odds compilers at William Hill, Arsenal have been given an implied probability of 1.5% to win their first six Premier League matches to open the 2025/26 campaign.

The Gunners, led by the charismatic Mikel Arteta, head to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on the opening weekend before Leeds United visit the Emirates Stadium. Then, Arsenal take on Liverpool (A), Nottingham Forest (H), Manchester City (H) and Newcastle United (A) to round off a really difficult start to the new season.

Meanwhile, defending champions Liverpool have a more favourable run of fixtures to start the campaign. They open the season at home to AFC Bournemouth before travelling to Newcastle United ahead of the clash with Arsenal at Anfield. Manchester City can be backed at 16/1 to pick up 18 points from their first six matches of the new season while Chelsea are 28/1. It will come as no surprise to hear that Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United are out at 125/1 to secure maximum points in their first six encounters.
