Temperature UK Odds

The first heatwave of the summer has hit the United Kingdom and temperatures have a firm chance of rising above 35C this weekend.

With the hot weather well and truly arriving on Thursday, William Hill go 7/2 that a temperature of over 35C is recorded in the UK on Friday, Saturday OR Sunday.

In addition, it is 1/1000 – an implied probability of 99.9% – that the hottest temperature of the year so far is recorded. The heatwave is bound to have an impact on sporting events across the country, with racegoers set to bask in the heat at Royal Ascot.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “The incoming heatwave is set to see the mercury rise well over 30C and we go 7/2 that we will see over 35C recorded in the UK on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

“At 1/1000, it’s an implied 99.9% chance that the hottest day of the year so far lands this weekend. The remainder of summer could yet be even warmer and we’re 4/1 that this weekend will be the hottest of 2025.”

With temperatures set to soar this weekend, it may be time to grab the beach towels and the suncream. It might even be hotter in the UK than Barbados if the forecasted weather is right!

  • Hottest day of 2025 so far to be broken – 1/1000
