Every year, Glastonbury Festival throws a complete curveball at fans: the elusive secret set. With the festival now just days away, speculation is at fever pitch.
William Hill’s betting market has given us a strong hint as to who might show up unannounced to electrify the Pyramid Stage.

The Frontrunners
Haim – 1/9
Almost too short to ignore, Haim are the heavy favourites. Their close relationship with the festival and regular appearances at UK events make them a logical shout. At 1/9, we believe it could only be a matter when, not if, the Haim sisters turn up.
Lewis Capaldi – 1/7
After a rocky time on stage here in 2023, some are speculating that Capaldi may want to make a triumphant return in a lower-pressure setting. His odds suggest he’s highly likely to give the fans a show at Worthy Farm.
Pulp – 2/5
With their reunion tour in full swing and a history steeped in Glastonbury lore, Pulp have become a favourite to reclaim the stage. Jarvis Cocker loves a surprise – and these odds say we shouldn’t rule him out.
Lorde – 1/1
Lorde’s last Glasto set in 2022 was lauded, and she’s been quiet lately – perhaps plotting a secret comeback and what better way than to appear as the secret act on the Pyramid Stage.
Ed Sheeran – 4/6
Sheeran’s surprise sets are legendary, and he’s got a knack for cropping up unannounced at various venues around the world. His odds reflect just that, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him stroll out with just his guitar and loop pedal.
The Dark Horses
Mumford & Sons – 11/10
They haven’t played Glastonbury in years, but they’ve always had a close connection to the festival. These odds suggest they’re very much in the mix – perhaps as a Sunday afternoon surprise?
Robbie Williams – 3/1
He’s hinted at a desire to play Glastonbury, and 2025 could be his year. A secret set would be a brilliant way to test the waters before a full-on headline slot in the future.
Elton John – 9/2
Fresh from last year’s show-stopping headline performance, Elton John returning for a secret set would be unexpected – but not impossible.
Radiohead & Lana Del Rey – 9/1
Two cult favourites with loyal followings. Radiohead have history of surprise shows, while Lana’s stunning 2023 set keeps her on Glastonbury fans’ radar. At 9/1, both are wildcards worth watching to appear from the wings.
The Long Shots
Lady Gaga – 11/1
Gaga has the spectacle – but would she do Glasto secretly? It’s not impossible, but her odds of 11/1 reflect how rare a move this would be for her.
Gorillaz & Kings Of Leon – 12/1
Both bands have the catalogue and the clout but little to tie them to this year’s rumour mill regarding the secret set.
The Stone Roses – 14/1, Oasis – 16/1
These two famous bands truly are the dreamers’ picks. A secret reunion from either of these Manchester legends would go down in history – but don’t hold your breath.
