Plumpton Racecourse

Head to East Sussex during the winter and you’ll find racing at Plumpton. The biggest race on their calendar comes in January with the Sussex National Handicap Chase over 3m 5f. Plumpton was the site of AP McCoy’s record-breaking 3,000th winner.

Plumpton is an undulating left-handed course of just over one mile. One of the smaller National Hunt tracks, it has an uphill finish.
