Wincanton Racecourse

February’s Kingwell Hurdle is the feature race in Wincanton’s winter jumps fixtures. The race is seen as a key Champion Hurdle trial. It has seen the likes of Azertyiuop, Inglis Drever and Binocular win in recent times.

Wincanton is a right-handed track that is one of the sharpest tests in the country when the ground is firm. Its fences can be stiff and often favours the prominent runners.
