Eberechi Eze Next Club Odds & Predictions (2025)

| BY Sam Cox

While Tottenham Hotspur were favourites to sign Eberechi Eze in mid-August, Arsenal hijacked the move to bring the winger to the Emirates Stadium.

Now an integral member of the Gunners squad, could Eze make the difference for Mikel Arteta’s team as they hunt a first Premier League title since 2004?

Eberechi Eze has consistently been linked with a move away from Crystal Palace in recent years.

Even with Palace due to feature in the Conference League football betting markets this season, Eze is the closest he’s been to a transfer, with Tottenham and Arsenal battling for his signature.

Arsenal’s Premier League betting odds to win the league are much shorter than Tottenham’s, but it’s the Lilywhites who are the clear favourites for Eze as of August 13.

Eberechi Eze To Sign For Before 2nd September 2025 Odds:

Punters can bet on Eberechi Eze’s next club at William Hill and the current state of the market can be seen below:

  • Tottenham – 1/2
  • Arsenal – 6/4
  • Manchester City – 16/1
  • Chelsea – 18/1
  • Bayern Munich – 25/1
  • PSG – 25/1
  • Liverpool – 25/1

Spurs Need Reinforcements

Spurs have long been rumoured as a potential destination for Eze. James Maddison has been ruled out for most or all the season with an ACL injury, making attacking midfield a need for Thomas Frank before the end of the transfer window.

Sky Sports’ Michael Bridge explained Spurs’ situation, “The main players Spurs want are a No 10, a defender and a winger. For the No 10, it’s an absolute necessity that they bring someone creative in. News of James Maddison’s ACL injury has really rocked Spurs.

“They tried to get Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White to be alongside Maddison – but have now ended up with neither player for the season.

“On top of that, Dejan Kulusevski is out until probably mid to late October. You’re losing a lot of goals and assists from even last season, which resulted in a 17th-place finish in the Premier League.”

Spurs, who are also interested in Savinho and Nico Paz, could trigger Eze’s £68 million release clause before it expires on Friday, August 15.

If the clause does expire, Palace would still want £68 million for their star man, as reported by Ben Jacobs.

Eze is reportedly interested in a move to Spurs if a fee can be agreed. Fabrizio Romano added that the Lilywhites are open to signing both Eze and Savinho.

Romano tweeted, “Tottenham keep working on both Savinho and Eze deals, as exclusively revealed. Spurs want to add two attacking players to the squad and talks with Palace/City are ongoing.”

Arsenal’s Interest

Arsenal are less keen than Spurs – if there was in play betting on transfer activity, you’d be cool enough on the Gunners.

On the Gunners’ potential pursuit of the Palace man, David Ornstein reported, “Eberechi Eze was being looked at when there was a possibility of Ethan Nwaneri leaving.

“He signs his new contract, and Eze is a less pressing concern – the left side is an area that Arsenal are thinking of as a priority, but that would take departures.”

Other journalists have stated Arsenal are looking to sell players before they make any more signings after signing Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Christian Nørgaard, Viktor Gyökeres, and Cristhian Mosquera for a combined £194 million.

Two-Horse Race

A move to north London seems like the only outcome if Eze is to leave Palace during this transfer window.

Manchester City have added Rayan Cherki as a replacement for Jack Grealish and brought in Omar Marmoush in the January transfer window.

Chelsea have far too many wingers. Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and PSG would likely have already made a move if they were going for Eze this summer.

Spurs are the clear frontrunners at the moment after losing Maddison. Arsenal have likely done most of their summer spending, barring a surprising player sale.
