With reports suggesting that Angellica Bell may have signed up to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2025, William Hill have suspended betting on the CBBC presenter to feature in this year’s line-up.

It was reported last week that Bell was in talks with the show’s producers and betting has now been suspended on the 49-year-old, who also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother just a few months ago.

With Bell now taken out of the Strictly betting market, former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan leads the market at 5/6 while Tom Skinner is a 11/10 shot to take to the dancefloor.

Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker-Bowles, is a 7/4 chance at William Hill while several sporting stars have featured in Strictly betting rumours for some time now.

Recently retired jockey Rachael Blackmore is priced at 3/1 to star in Strictly 2025 while Danny Cipriani and Jill Scott (3/1 and 7/2 respectively) are also towards the head of the betting.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “The Strictly Come Dancing rumour mill continues to turn and some recent reports have forced our hand to remove Angellica Bell from our market on who will appear in the next series.

“Bell was well-fancied to take part later this year and reports that she is in discussions with the producers mean we are no longer taking bets on her participation.

“Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan now heads the betting at 5/6, ahead of Tom Skinner at 11/10.

“Strictly has had its Royal links throughout the years and that could continue in 2025, with Tom Parker-Bowles a short-priced 7/4 to take part in the next series.”
