Marcus Rashford Next Club Odds & Predictions
One of the most sought-after players this transfer window is Marcus Rashford, who looks set to leave Manchester United.
A number of Europe’s top clubs are in the hunt for the Englishman’s signature and here we go through the likeliest destinations for the forward.
Bet on Football with William Hill
Barcelona – 8/15
A transfer to Barcelona heads the betting at 8/15 and looks to be the ideal move for Marcus Rashford at this point of his career. His performances in the Champions League for Aston Villa, as well as those for United a few years back, prove that he’s more than capable of operating at that level.
There’s no doubt Rashford would be a strong fit for the Catalan club. His pace, directness, and ability to play in behind align well with Barcelona’s need for more vertical threat in the final third. Operating from the left, he could stretch defences and create space for the likes of Pedri to thrive in midfield, while also linking up effectively with Raphinha or Lamine Yamal on the opposite wing or Robert Lewandowski through the middle.
The tactical shift to La Liga could also benefit him; Spanish football is generally less physical than the Premier League, often allowing attackers more time on the ball, something Rashford could exploit with his dribbling and shooting abilities.
Bayern Munich – 11/4
A move to Bayern Munich is also fancied at 11/4 and could offer Rashford a fresh start and the perfect platform to rediscover his best form.
His pace suits the Bundesliga perfectly as many teams play with high defensive lines, while linking up with creative talents like Michael Olise and operating alongside a proven striker like Harry Kane could ease the pressure on Rashford.
The Bundesliga’s more open play and Bayern’s dominant approach in most matches would give him space to thrive. Leroy Sane has recently left the club and with Jamal Musiala suffering a long-term injury recently, Rashford may be looked at for offensive reinforcement. We have already seen the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham thrive in Germany, could Rashford be the next English export to rip up the Bundesliga?
Any Saudi Club – 6/1
A move to the ever-growing Saudi Pro League cannot be ruled out at 6/1. Rashford is a very high earner on United wage bill and not many European clubs will be willing to match his salary while also playing a significant fee.
It’s likely that the contract offer a Saudi club could put forward would dwarf many of those from European sides in terms of wages, length, and additional benefits. That could prove extremely tempting for Rashford, especially if he’s looking for a fresh start away from the spotlight of European football.
That said, he’s still at a point in his career where he can, and reportedly wants to, continue performing and playing at the highest level possible. He may still see himself as a key figure on the biggest stages of European football, so it may not yet be the time to make the move to Saudi Arabia. However, the option remains open and could become more realistic depending on how his situation at United evolves.
