Nottingham Forest shirt polls as best 2025-26 Premier League home kit

According to social media analysis, Brentford’s new home kit receives the worst feedback and Manchester United earns the overall positive sentiment.
New research conducted by William Hill has revealed that Nottingham Forest’s 2025-26 home kit has received the best social media feedback, with an impressive 54% of fan sentiment registering as positive.
The study, which analysed social media platform ‘X’, evaluated reactions to each Premier League club’s new home shirt launch during the week following its reveal, categorising comments as positive, negative, or neutral.
Manchester United’s kit also received a strong response, with 48% positive sentiment. Rivals Liverpool, with 41% positive sentiment, rounded out the top three clubs receiving the best reactions from fans.
A handful of clubs received more negativity following their announcements. Brentford endured a bruising reception to their 2025-26 home strip, registering a 67% negative reaction from fans. West Ham and Leeds also fared poorly, with just 4% and 8% positive sentiment respectively, and notable negative reactions of 18% and 14%.

Spokesperson for William Hill , Lee Phelps, said: “The home kit reveals ahead of a new Premier League season is always an exciting time for fans up and down the country, and many have taken to social media to voice their opinions on the best and worst.
“Using social media analytics, we assessed which kits received the greatest percentage of positive responses – with Nottingham Forest (54%), Manchester United (48%), and Liverpool (41%) coming out on top. Forest stood out, receiving only 3% negative sentiment towards their 2025-26 home strip.
“At the other end of the scale, Brentford (67% negative), West Ham (18% negative), and Leeds (14% negative) faced a tougher crowd, with more criticism than praise. The Bees will be hoping their performances on the pitch will win back a few more fans, having received the worst feedback in the league. Based on this research, their home kit can now be branded as the worst this season by quite a big margin.”
