With the 2025/26 Premier League season fast approaching, it’s time to dive into the betting for the PFA Awards.

Let’s look at the contenders for the 25/26 PFA Player of the Season.

Bet on PFA Player of the Year with William Hill

PFA Player of the Season betting

Bukayo Saka is the marginal favourite at 13/2, but with 13 players the lower side of 20/1, it just shows how competitive the betting is.

Mohamed Salah – 9/1

Mohamed Salah might be worth consideration at a price of 9/1. A two-time winner of the award, he may have been overlooked in the market, and you could make a good case for him being shorter.

The Egyptian is looking to add a third Player of the Award to his glittering résumé. Already a two-time winner, Salah has been the heartbeat of Liverpool’s attack since 2017, delivering consistent world-class numbers year after year.

Last season was no different, he collected his fifth Liverpool Player of the Season award, his fourth in the last five campaigns, underlining just how indispensable he remains to Arne Slot’s side.

Even with fresh attacking options arriving at Anfield, Salah’s output and impact on Liverpool keeps him firmly in the conversation for individual honours.

The Egyptian King faces competition from the likes of Bukayo Saka, Florian Wirtz, and Erling Haaland, but history shows that when Salah is fit and firing, he can outdo any rival.

If Liverpool mount a serious title challenge, his 9/1 price could look huge come the business end of the campaign.

Erling Haaland – 9/1

Similar feelings apply with Erling Haaland, who is joint with Salah at 9/1.

The Manchester City man didn’t enjoy the best of seasons last campaign, but it was a poor season for City overall.

He still scored 22 goals, despite missing various periods to injury, which saw him towards the top of the goalscoring standings despite a supposedly poorer season.

If he can replicate his first season in the division, he will likely go close to this award once again, especially if City can regain the Premier League title.

William Saliba – 33/1

William Saliba also has to be of interest at 33/1.

Arsenal arrive at this season well reinforced, having strengthened in the areas they need to, to go that one step further and win the Premier League under Mikel Arteta.

One constant and a big part of their success so far has been the revelation of their defence and how solid they are at the back.

Led by William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, they conceded just 34 goals in the last campaign which was comfortably the least of any team in the league.

Now with the ample reinforcements in the midfield and attacking areas, they can make a real run on the league and if a similar defensive prowess is displayed in the 25/26 season, you’d be on good terms with yourself if you’d taken the 33/1 on Saliba to win the Player of the Season award.
