Golden Boot Winner Odds: Joao Pedro Backed To Be Premier League Top Goalscorer (2025/26)

Chelsea Stamford Bridge

Joao Pedro has received plenty of support to finish as the Premier League top goalscorer in 2025/26, with 14.6% of bets at William Hill for the Chelsea forward.

A 16/1 shot to claim the Golden Boot this season, Pedro has attracted significantly more bets than the next most popular player, Arsenal’s Viktor Gyokeres (11.6%), despite the Swedish striker being considerably shorter in the market at 13/2.

Gyökeres has been better supported in the market compared to fellow Premier League arrivals, Hugo Ekitike (3.6%) and Benjamin Sesko (1.5%), with the new Liverpool and Manchester United recruits priced at 16/1 and 18/1 respectively to claim the Golden Boot in their debut season.

Erling Haaland accounts for only 1.5% of bets placed but is the 6/5 favourite to be named top goalscorer this season, ahead of Mohamed Salah (4/1) and Alexander Isak (6/1).

Premier League Top Goalscorer Odds 2025/26:

Punters can bet on the Premier League Golden Boot winner ahead of the new season at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:

  • Erling Haaland – 6/5
  • Mohamed Salah – 4/1
  • Alexander Isak – 6/1
  • Viktor Gyokeres – 13/2
  • Joao Pedro – 16/1
  • Benjamin Sesko – 18/1
  • Cole Palmer – 20/1
  • Bar – 25/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “All eyes will be on the new Premier League recruits when the season gets underway this weekend, but it’s not where punters are looking in our Top Goalscorer market, with nearly 15% of bets placed on Joao Pedro at 16/1 to be leading scorer this season.

“While Pedro is new at Stamford Bridge this season, he has several years of Premier League experience with Brighton already under his belt, something that can’t be said for new Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres (13/2), who has attracted the second-highest percentage of bets.

“However, with 11.6% of bets on the Swede, punters clearly feel he can make an instant impact in the Premier League, while fellow new big-money signings Hugo Ekitike (16/1) and Benjamin Sesko (18/1) account for a far smaller percentage of bets.”
