Marc Guehi Next Club Odds & Predictions (2026)
Marc Guehi continues to attract serious attention as one of the Premier League’s most reliable centre-backs.
The Crystal Palace captain has developed into a leader at club and international level, and with his contract situation creating uncertainty, speculation around his next move is growing. Several major clubs have emerged as contenders, with Premier League sides once again dominating the market.
Manchester City 7/4
Manchester City currently head the market at 7/4, and recent developments have only strengthened their position. With Joško Gvardiol sidelined through injury, Pep Guardiola’s defensive options have been stretched, making a move for a proven Premier League defender increasingly appealing.
Guehi fits City’s profile perfectly. He is comfortable in possession, tactically intelligent, and experienced at playing in a high defensive line, having developed this skill during Crystal Palace’s recent run of form. He also has experience of European football with Crystal Palace and looks like one of the first names on the England team sheet.
City’s interest is not entirely new, but Gvardiol’s injury has made the move feel far more realistic than before. While Palace would be reluctant to sell mid-season, the price reflects the belief that City may be prepared to act decisively if their defensive issues persist.
Liverpool 4/1
Liverpool sit next at 4/1, and this is a story that has been building for some time. Last summer, a move to Anfield looked increasingly likely, with Liverpool heavily linked and Palace reportedly braced for a late offer. At one stage, the deal was priced as short as 4/7 before negotiations ultimately broke down during that window.
The Reds remain admirers of Guehi, particularly as they plan for the long term future of their defence. His Premier League experience and leadership qualities make him an ideal fit for Slot’s system. While Liverpool have strengthened defensively since last summer, the club’s previous willingness to push hard keeps them firmly in contention.
Barcelona 10/1
Barcelona are available at 10/1 and represent one of the more intriguing overseas options. The Catalan giants are always on the lookout for defensive reinforcements, and Guehi’s calm style and ball playing ability would suit La Liga well.
However, financial constraints remain a significant hurdle. Barcelona’s ongoing struggles with wages and registration rules mean any move would likely depend on favourable terms or a free transfer scenario. As a result, while the interest is credible, the odds reflect the difficulty of completing a deal.
Other Clubs, Real Madrid 14/1 and PSG 16/1
Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain complete the list of notable alternatives. Madrid, priced at 14/1, are known to monitor elite defensive talent across Europe and have reportedly made contact regarding Guehi’s situation. Their focus on younger, versatile defenders keeps them in the conversation, even if a move feels less immediate.
PSG, at 16/1, remain a wildcard. While they consistently invest in defensive depth, there has been less concrete noise linking them strongly with Guehi. A move to Paris cannot be ruled out, but at this stage it appears to be a secondary possibility.
