@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the English Premier League..
Matchday three of this Premier League season gets underway this weekend with all ten games being played across two days (Sat-Sun). We start this weekends Acca in North London on Saturday afternoon, as Tottenham Hotspur take on Bournemouth at 3pm. Later that evening, we’ll head to Yorkshire and to a rowdy Elland Road, with Leeds United taking on Newcastle in the Saturday night fixture.
Sunday will see this Acca head down to the South Coast, where Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Manchester City at 2pm, before we conclude in the North West, with Liverpool and Arsenal battling it out for three points in potentially the game of the weekend at Anfield.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for matchday three:
Tottenham Hotspur v Bournemouth – Saturday, 3pm
- It’s been a perfect start to the season for Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Frank, with back-to-back victories including a 2-0 win away to Manchester City on Saturday. The Lilywhites have also started to find their feet in front of goal, scoring at least two goals in each of their last three games.
- Bournemouth picked up their first win of the season against ten-men Wolves on Saturday, they’ve played Spurs away eight times in the Premier League and have conceded at least two goals in seven of those.
Pick of the game: Tottenham Hotspur To Score Over 1.5 Goals
Leeds United v Newcastle United – Saturday, 5.30pm
- Leeds will be desperate to bounce back from their big 5-0 defeat at Arsenal on Saturday evening, the Whites return back to Elland Road where they’ve already picked up three points this season in their opener, six of the last eight Premier League meetings between these two sides in Yorkshire have seen both teams find the back of the net.
- Newcastle suffered real heartbreak on Monday night, having come from 2-0 down with 10 men against Liverpool, their bullish performance looked like they would get at least a point until they conceded with almost the last kick of the game, losing 3-2.
Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score
Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester City – Sunday, 2pm
- It’s not been the best start to the season for Brighton & Hove Albion, their 1-1 draw with Fulham was then followed up with a 2-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday despite creating plenty of golden chances.
- Manchester City also suffered a 2-0 defeat at the weekend, their performance was nothing like their opening 4-0 victory against Wolves but they travel to Brighton with a good record here, having won five of their last eight visits (W5, D1, L2), whilst scoring at least two goals in six of those eight games.
Pick of the game: Manchester City To Score Over 1.5 Goals
Liverpool v Arsenal – Sunday, 4.30pm
- Liverpool continued their 100% start to their defence of the Premier League title on Monday evening with a 3-2 victory over Newcastle, although they did it the hard way despite playing with a player more for the whole second half, their leaky defence once again playing their part in a 3-2 thriller.
- Arsenal travel to this huge clash at Anfield having won both of their games so far in the Premier League beating both Manchester United (1-0) and Leeds (5-0). We should see goals here between these two potential title contenders as both teams have found the back of the net in each of their last six Premier League meetings.
Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score
