Next James Bond Odds: Theo James Revealed As Public Choice

Theo James has been revealed as the UK public’s top choice to take on the iconic role of James Bond, according to research.
William Hill Vegas analysed social sentiment data from X (formerly known as Twitter) over the past month of the bookmaker’s top 10 selections in the betting and found that Theo James received the highest share of positive posts regarding his potential as the next Bond at 35%.

Punters can bet on the next James Bond after Daniel Craig at William Hill and readers can see the public vote, conducted by William Hill Vegas, in the attached table below.
James also had a comparatively low negative share of just 15%. Close behind him, former Superman Henry Cavill received 22% positive posts versus 11% negative, whilst BAFTA award-winning Jack Lowden had 20% positive and 10% negative sentiment.
Other fan favourites included Tom Holland (20% positive, 9% negative) and Callum Turner (18% positive, 3% negative). Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Norton were slightly lower in the rankings, with positivity scores of 17% and 15%, respectively.
At the lower end of the spectrum, Harris Dickinson and Aaron Pierre were the least popular choices among the public, with 11% and 9% positive posts and 12% and 14% negative posts respectively.
William Hill Vegas spokesperson, Lee Phelps, commented: “With speculation mounting over who will step into Daniel Craig’s shoes, we’ve turned to public opinion on X to identify who fans believe should be the next James Bond.
“Theo James leads the way with 35% of posts being positive about his potential, closely followed by Henry Cavill and Jack Lowden.
“It’s clear from the data that there’s no shortage of enthusiasm for a variety of actors, though Harris Dickinson and Aaron Pierre appear less favoured by the public.
“Our research offers a snapshot of who the nation wants to see take on 007 next, as the next chapter in the Bond franchise begins to take shape.”
