Nigel Farage has shortened in William Hill’s politics betting market to become the next Prime Minister following Keir Starmer.

Farage’s odds of becoming Prime Minister have continued to shorten as Reform gain ascendancy in the polls, with the latest move seeing him clipped to 2/1 from 9/4, some way clear of next in the market, Wes Streeting at 6/1.

Under-fire Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner, has drifted markedly from 9/2 second favourite out to 9/1.

“Farage is some way clear of his closest challenger in the market, current Health Secretary Wes Streeting at 6/1, while Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has drifted significantly out to 9/1 from 9/2 following her own admission of underpaying tax.”

Meanwhile, Reform are now also odds-on in the betting market to win most seats at the next General Election at 10/11, having shortened in from even-money.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Confidence behind Reform seems to be growing and they are now odds-on at 10/11 to win most seats at the next General Election, ahead of Labour at 7/4.”
