UEFA Champions League 2025/2026 – To Finish Bottom Predictions
The UEFA Champions League is back for the 71st edition of the Europe’s most prestigious club football competition, with Paris Saint-Germain looking to defend their crown.
@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this UEFA Champions League campaign..
The previous UEFA Champions League campaign was the first in it’s new format and despite much debate about how it would fare against the traditional format, we witnessed plenty of drama with some of the biggest games in club football throughout the competition.

Thirty-six teams make up the Champions League group phase and it’s a real financial gain for many of the participating games. Whilst the money is greater for those that progress, it’s still already a huge coup for some sides that are highly unlikely to finish within the top twenty-four places to secure a play-off spot but still, nobody want’s to finish bottom.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some UEFA Champions League To Finish Bottom odds and predictions:
*All odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*
Kairat Almaty – 11/8
- Possibly one of the biggest shocks already in the Champions League is the inclusion of Kairat Almaty, the side from Kazakhstan. However, it’s definitely deserved after getting the better of 1967 European Cup winners Celtic over two legs, this is the first FC Kairat will participate in the Champions League group stages having failed to qualify in their previous two attempts (2005/2006 and 2021/2022). It’s no surprise to see them as favourites to finish at the bottom of the this UCL Group but i’m sure they will give some sides a scare, especially at home. – Kairat Almaty are my pick to finish bottom of this group.
Qarabag – 7/2
- This is just the second time that Azerbaijani side Qarabag have featured in the UEFA Champions League group stages, their last campaign came back in the 2017/2018 campaign where they faced AS Roma, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid in Group C, finishing bottom of the pile with just two points.
Slavia Prague – 9/1
- Slavia Prague booked their place in the UEFA Champions League group stage for the third time having previously participated in the 2007/2008 and 2019/2020 campaigns, heading out of the competition in those two groups. They’ll face Bodo/Glimt and Pafos FC within their eight games in this campaign, two games they will hope to pick up points from in order to prevent them from finishing at the summit.
Bodo/Glimt – 10/1
- Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt have really impressed in Europe during recent years, even reaching the UEFA Europa League semi-finals last season. This is the clubs first ever feature in the UEFA Champions League group stages and will relish facing opponents such as Juventus, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, whilst they do have a tough test ahead of them, they should have to enough to avoid finishing bottom of the group.
Best Of The Rest:
- Pafos – 12/1
- Olympiacos – 16/1
- Union St Gilloise – 16/1
- Copenhagen – 20/1
- Club Brugge – 20/1
- Ajax – 33/1
- Newcastle – 250/1
