Ellie Goldstein may not top the betting for Strictly Come Dancing 2025 but she’s certainly been popular with punters ahead of the opening show of the series.
In fact, an incredible 25% of all money staked on the outright market has been placed on Goldstein prior to Saturday’s curtain raiser.
Lewis Cope remains the market leader at 11/4 but Goldstein is towards the head of the betting at 9/2. Second favourite Dani Dyer has also been popular with punters, attracting 11% of bets on the 2025 edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “Strictly Come Dancing is set to return to our screens this week and once again it’s sure to be one of the most bet-on TV shows of the year at William Hill. Turnover on bets taken on Strictly was up last year by 15% on 2023 and we’re hoping for another strong showing this year.
“Punters seem to be looking towards Ellie Goldstein (9/2), as she’s accounted for 14% of bets and a quarter of all money staked on the outright market so far. Second favourite Dani Dyer (4/1) is another popular pick – 11% of bets/stakes – with current favourite, Lewis Cope (11/4) not proving as popular.”
