Strictly Come Dancing 2025: First Elimination Odds
The 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing is just around the corner and we look at the current state of the ‘next elimination’ market prior to Saturday’s opening show.
We are now just a matter of days away from the first episode of this year’s competition, with celebrity contestants set to find out their respective professional partners.
Ahead of the opener, William Hill have priced up the betting on the first eliminated contestant of the new series and Ross King is the early favourite to be the first celebrity voted off.
Strictly Come Dancing Next Elimination Odds:
Punters can bet on the next elimination in Strictly Come Dancing 2025 at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:
- Ross King – 5/2
- Chris Robshaw – 3/1
- Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – 9/2
- Stefan Dennis – 6/1
- La Voix – 7/1
- Thomas Skinner – 10/1
- Harry Aikines-Aryeetey – 14/1
- Balvinder Sopal – 16/1
- Alex Kingston – 16/1
- Bar – 20/1
Former England rugby union star Chris Robshaw is next up at 3/1 while Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, one of the Premier League’s most prolific strikers, has been backed to be eliminated before any of his fellow competitors.
The Dutchman is now 9/2 (from 6/1) to be the first contestant eliminated, though it is important to note that nobody will be eliminated in the first week. As is tradition on Strictly, contestants will have at least two weeks to impress both the judges and the general public.
Lee Phelps, spokesperson for William Hill, said: “In the first elimination market, we’ve seen a move for ex-footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who is 9/2 from 6/1 to be the first contestant voted off the show, with only Ross King (5/2) and Chris Robshaw (3/1) shorter in the market.”
With Tom Skinner shortening in the outright winner market and Lewis Cope moving to the head of the betting, there have been plenty of twists and turns ahead of the opener – and Saturday will open a few eyes, that’s for sure. Bring it on!
