Arsenal Champions League Odds: Gunners Now Joint Favourites To Top UCL League Phase

The Gunners, who had been priced at 4/1 prior to their win in Greece, now sit as joint favourites alongside Paris Saint-Germain, who also shortened from 5/1 into 9/4 after impressing in a midweek victory against Barcelona.
Manchester City, by contrast, have slipped back in the betting. Pep Guardiola’s side were held to a draw by Monaco and have consequently drifted from 9/1 to 16/1, where they join Liverpool as outsiders among the English contenders.
Real Madrid remain closest to the frontrunners at 6/1, with Bayern Munich and Barcelona both available at 8/1 to finish top of the league stage.
Arsenal’s rise in the European market comes as their domestic form continues to impress. Mikel Arteta’s side are now 5/4 favourites to win the Premier League, highlighting the sense of momentum around the club both at home and abroad. In the outright Champions League betting, they are 6/1 second favourites, just behind Barcelona and PSG at 11/2.
William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “What a week it has been for Arsenal fans. The Gunners have become favourites for the Premier League title, as well as shortening significantly in Europe to now sit as 9/4 joint favourites with PSG to top the Champions League league phase, having been 4/1 prior to their win against Olympiacos.
“PSG have also shortened from 5/1 to 9/4, while Manchester City’s slip up against Monaco has seen them drift right out to 16/1 – the same price as Liverpool – meaning Arsenal now stand out as the leading English hope at this stage in the competition.
“Real Madrid are closest to the two frontrunners at 6/1, with Bayern Munich and Barcelona both 8/1.”
