Next Rangers Manager Odds: Market Moves Back Towards Steven Gerrard
Steven Gerrard has strengthened at the top of the betting to become the next Rangers manager following the dismissal of Russell Martin earlier this week.
Originally installed as the clear favourite to take over at the helm, Gerrard drifted out in the market after strong support for former Burnley manager Sean Dyche on Tuesday.
However, Dyche has been a big drifter in the market over the past 24 hours while Gerrard is now odds-on for a second spell at Ibrox.

With Rangers drifting for the Scottish Premiership title, the next manager will need to come in and steady the ship. Gerrard knows the club, having spent three years at Ibrox from 2018 to 2021.

“Former Ibrox man Kevin Muscat is the new second favourite in the betting at 11/2, while current Hearts boss Derek McInnes is next at 8/1.
“Sean Dyche has been the big drifter in the last 24 hours, he’s out to 8/1 to take the role having been as short as 6/4 yesterday.”
With an appointment likely in the coming days, there will be plenty of interest in the next Rangers manager betting market. Gerrard leads the way but until he puts pen to paper, anything can happen.
Rangers fans will be hoping that – whether Gerrard returns to the club or not – the new manager can take the William Hill Scottish Premiership giants back to the summit of Scottish football.
