Premier League Betting Tips for Saturday 8th November

Premier League Puma Ball 2025-26

This weekend will see the Premier League get underway for Matchday eleven of this new campaign, with the table starting to take shape and a few teams already upsetting the apple cart, we’re all set for another weekend of pure PL drama.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the English Premier League..

The Premier League action on Saturday will see five games take place up and down England. Make sure to check out this weekends Acca on William Hill News.

First up, we head to North London where Tottenham Hotspur welcome Manchester United for the early kick off.

At the traditional time of 3pm, we’ve got two games getting underway as Everton take on Fulham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, whilst two struggling sides meet in London as West Ham United take on Burnley in a big game at the bottom.

At 5.30pm, the current league-leaders Arsenal will make the trip up north to face high-flying Sunderland before Chelsea welcome a Wolverhampton Wanderers side in desperate need of three points.

You can view the Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United Bet Builder on William Hill News.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:

Everton v Fulham – Saturday, 3pm

Punters can bet on Everton v Fulham with William Hill

  • Having started this new campaign strongly under David Moyes, Everton are just starting to slow down now and the Toffees return to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday having not won any of their last three Premier League games (D1, L2).
  • Everton’s 1-1 draw on Monday night away to Sunderland means it’s actually now just one win from their last seven Premier League games, although only one defeat here in their new Stadium so far.
  • David Moyes has beaten Fulham in nineteen Premier League games as manager, seven more than he has managed against any other side but the Toffees have failed to win any of their last five meetings on Merseyside against the Cottagers in all competitions.
    ——————————–
  • Fulham are another side that have been through a bit of a rough patch is recent weeks having lost four Premier League games in a row before beating Wolves 3-0 last weekend for a much needed three points.
  • Marco Silva’s side have really struggled on the road though so far in the league, they remain just one of four sides that are yet to pick up a win on their travels, they’ve managed just one point from a possible fifteen, not great.
  • The Cottagers haven’t scored more than one goal in their last five Premier League away games and given i don’t think they’ll be much to separate these two sides, a score draw could well be on the cards here.

Prediction: Draw, Everton 1-1 Fulham.

West Ham v Burnley – Saturday, 3pm

Punters can bet on West Ham v Burnley with William Hill

  • West Ham United finally picked up their first three points under new boss Nuno Espiritio Santo last Sunday with a 3-1 victory over Newcastle despite going a goal down early on, it’s the Hammers first win in their last seven games.
  • Maybe that’s just what was needed to instill some confidence into this side, you feel like this game will give us a true indication of where West Ham are as a victory could move them above Burnley and out of the bottom three, defeat here and they’ll be six points off the Premier League new-boys.
  • West Ham are unbeaten in their last six Premier League games against Burnley but history suggests they’ll need to score at least once to continue that run on Saturday as they’ve only kept two clean sheets from the last thirteen games v Burnley, whilst they are yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
    ——————————–————————
  • Burnley’s two game unbeaten run came to an end last weekend after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal which won’t do too much damage in terms of confidence for the Clarets, they’ve still managed to pick up three more points at this stage in the season compared to recent relegation campaigns.
  • Scott Parker’s side are doing what they have to in terms of picking up points against sides around them, they’ve won two and drawn one against fellow bottom-five sides already this season, so they wont fear this one.
  • I’m going to back goals in this one as four of the last five meetings have seen both sides on the scoresheet, but given Burnley haven’t won any of their last six meetings against the side from London, i’ll back West Ham to pick up another win.

Prediction: West Ham To Win, West Ham 2-1 Burnley.

Sunderland v Arsenal – Saturday, 5.30pm

Punters can bet on Sunderland v Arsenal with William Hill

  • It’s been a remarkable return to the Premier League for Sunderland who enter Matchday eleven in fourth place, having already taken eighteen points from a possible thirty (W5, D3, L2), whilst the Black Cats remain just one of five sides that are yet to lose a game on home soil in the league.
  • Sunderland will be looking to cause more chaos in this Premier League campaign on Saturday night and a victory here against Arsenal would give them their first win against the London side in their last twelve attempts.
  • The Black Cats sit bottom of the over 2.5 table, they’ve seen just three of their seven games so far produce at least three goals in the league, whilst Arsenal have the same record albeit above Sunderland via less goals conceded.
    ——————————–
  • Arsenal are on course for another record on Saturday night as they can claim nine consecutive victories without conceding, a stat which would see them leapfrog Liverpool and Preston North End.
  • The league leaders look solid so far this season and should really fancy themselves for the title, they head into gameweek eleven six points clear at the top of the PL having lost just one game so far.
  • Despite Sunderland’s strong start to the campaign, i’m backing Arsenal in this one and i’m backing them to get this clean sheet record, they are unbeaten here in the league in their last six games, winning five of those.

Prediction: Arsenal To Win To Nil, Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal.

Chelsea v Wolves – Saturday, 8pm

Punters can bet on Chelsea v Wolves with William Hill

  • Chelsea return to London after a midweek trip to 5,000 mile round trip to Azerbaijan in the UEFA Champions League, a 2-2 draw with Qarabag against the odds brought an end to Chelsea’s two game winning streak.
  • Domestically, Chelsea are looking strong and after another victory away to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, the Blues are now just two points off Manchester City in second place, they’ll be expected to win here and likely to move into the top four at least.
  • These two sides met less than two weeks ago in the EFL Cup with Chelsea advancing via a 4-3 victory, the Blues have lost just once at Stamford Bridge against Wolves in their last twelve meetings here in all competitions.
    ——————————–
  • Wolves are a side in trouble and there’s no doubt about that right now, they sit bottom of the Premier League table and remain the only side that are still yet to pick up three points so far, a start to the season which seen Vitor Pereira sacked.
  • Whoever comes in to take over this Wolves job has it all to do, with history showing that no side have ever survived relegation with a points tally as low as that of Wolves at this stage of the season, eye-opening.
  • This is a fixture that tends to produce goals, with seven of the last eight meetings producing at least three goals, whilst both teams have found the back of the net in the last five head-to-heads, more of the same here i think but Chelsea to get the win.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Chelsea To Win, Chelsea 3-1 Wolves.
