Becher Chase Odds: Mr Vango Favourite After Declarations
After 13 runners were declared for Aintree’s William Hill Becher Chase, the first William Hill Half A Mill bonus race, Mr Vango has been popular in the betting and is the 4/1 favourite.
Sara Bradstock’s contender is sure to love the softer going and will look to give connections another big Saturday winner. Galia Des Liteaux has also been backed, with the Skelton mare now 13/2 from 10/1, followed by Gaboriot at 7/1 (from 8/1).
Bioluminescense is 8/1 for William Hill ambassador Gavin Cromwell, alongside Westerninthepark for Olly Murphy, with Bill Baxter (9/1), Excello (10/1) and Monbeg Genius at 11/1 all following in the betting.
As the first race of the William Hill Half A Mill series, the winner of Saturday’s Aintree feature will be in line for a £500,000 bonus should they go on to land the Randox Grand National in April. Bonus sponsors William Hill make it 8/1 that any horse lands the William Hill Half A Mill bonus in the 2025/26 season.
