Premier League Puma Ball 2025-26

This weekend will see the Premier League get underway for Gameweek seventeen of this campaign, with the table starting to take shape and a few teams already upsetting the apple cart, we’re all set for another weekend of pure PL drama.[related_markets/]

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the English Premier League..

This weeks Acca is the last one before Christmas and will get underway on Saturday evening in North London, as Tottenham Hotspur welcome Liverpool at 5.30pm.

Later that evening, we have two games taking place at 8pm, Everton face the league leaders Arsenal, whilst Elland Road awaits Leeds and Crystal Palace.

Our Acca will then conclude on Sunday afternoon at Villa Park, as Aston Villa welcome Manchester United in this intriguing encounter.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for matchday seventeen:

Tottenham v Liverpool – Saturday, 5.30pm

  • Tottenham come into this one off the back of a 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest, adding to the pressure that’s on Thomas Frank right now. That’s now three or more goals produced in five of their last six Premier League games, whilst they’ve seen an overall total of 69% (11/16 PL games) produce over 2.5 goals.
  • Liverpool made no mistake at home to Brighton last weekend with a 2-0 victory, they’ve seen six of their eight Premier League away games produce at least three goals (75%), whilst the same outcome has occurred in each of their last five PL visits to Spurs.

Pick of the game: Over 2.5 Goals

Everton v ArsenalSaturday, 8pm

  • Everton found themselves on the end of a 2-0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend, that’s now six defeats from their first sixteen games this season, whilst they’ve not beat Arsenal in any of their previous five encounters.
  • Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table and will be hoping to spend their Christmas there, although it did take a last minute goal to get them over the line against a struggling Wolves side, this won’t be comfortable but they should edge it.

Pick of the game: Arsenal To Win

Leeds v Crystal PalaceSaturday, 8pm

  • Leeds came from behind away to Brentford on Sunday afternoon to earn themselves a point as they now sit three points clear of the drop, the Whites have seen both teams on the scoresheet in six of their eight PL games at Elland Road this season.
  • Crystal Palace suffered a 3-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend and then followed that up with a surprising 2-2 draw against Finnish side KuPS on Thursday night, albeit with Oliver Glasner making plenty of changes to the starting eleven. Four of the last six meetings between these two sides in Yorkshire have seen both teams score.

Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score

Aston Villa v Manchester United – Sunday, 4.30pm

  • Aston Villa continue to fly under Unai Emery as they secured their ninth win in a row across all competitions on Sunday with a 3-2 win at West Ham, the Villans are now just three points off Arsenal at the top of the table, they’ve seen six of their last seven games produce BTTS.
  • No side in the Premier League have seen more games produce BTTS than Manchester United, twelve of their sixteen (75%) outings have seen goals for both sides, whilst the same has occurred in all but one (7/8) of their PL away games, they come into this one off the back of that crazy 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday night.

Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score
