The Masters returns to Alexandra Palace from 11–18 January 2026, bringing together snooker’s elite 16-man field for one of the season’s most prestigious invitation events. A two-time Masters champion and still one of the game’s most devastating scorers, Trump opens against Ding Junhui – a tough draw, but one that he will expect to navigate if he finds his rhythm early. Just behind Trump sits Mark Selby at 9/2, the four-time world champion who has rediscovered something close to his peak. Over a best-of-11 format, his ability to squeeze frames, slow opponents down and clear under pressure makes him a serious threat to the favourite’s grip on the market.
Zhao Xintong – 5/1
Zhao Xintong is also prominent at 5/1, reflecting both his explosive talent and the sense that he is ready to reassert himself after a turbulent period. The former UK champion’s ultra-attacking style can overwhelm opponents when he settles quickly, and a first-round clash with Gary Wilson gives him a platform to play his way into the event. If Zhao can tighten up his safety game while maintaining his natural scoring instincts, he has the upside to outplay his odds and emerge as a genuine title contender.

Behind the headline quartet sits a tightly bunched group of dangerous outsiders: Neil Robertson and Kyren Wilson are 8/1 and 10/1 respectively, defending champion Shaun Murphy at 11/1, plus experienced campaigners Mark Williams, John Higgins, Mark Allen and Barry Hawkins at doublefigure prices. Murphy opens his title defence against Wu Yize, while Wilson faces Si Jiahui in a clash of heavy scorers, and either could easily catch fire over the week if the draw opens up.
