Thomas Frank – 1/4
Thomas Frank is now the strong favourite at 1/4, after Spurs suffered a 2–1 home defeat to West Ham United. The win for the Hammers away from home only reinforced the feeling that Spurs are stuck in reverse, unable to put away teams around them and still leaking soft goals in key moments. Being winless in 2026 has left them drifting away from the European places, and the mood in the stands is becoming increasingly restless. For all that Frank has credit in the bank from his Brentford days, the narrative is turning towards whether a new voice is needed to reenergise an expensively assembled squad.
Nuno Espirito Santo – 9/4
Nuno slips to second favourite at 9/4 after West Ham’s late win at Spurs, a result that might buy him valuable breathing space. That victory followed on from a gritty performance in the FA Cup Third round and showed that the players are still responding to him, even if the overall league position remains precarious. The concern for the board is that, despite flashes of resilience, West Ham still veer between organised and chaotic from week to week, making it hard to trust that this minirevival will last. Another dip could quickly see Nuno’s price shorten again.
Arne Slot – 6/1
Arne Slot stays prominent in the market at 6/1 after Liverpool were held 1–1 at home by Burnley, a result that once again underlined their inconsistency. Dropping points at Anfield against a relegation candidate is the kind of slip that tests patience when expectations are for a title challenge. Liverpool still create chances and look dangerous in spells, but the lack of ruthlessness and recurring defensive lapses are beginning to wear thin with supporters who are used to seeing their side dominate these fixtures. While Slot is not believed to be in immediate danger, a failure to keep pace with the top four would inevitably push him further up the sackrace ladder.
Oliver Glasner – 7/1
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is now a singlefigure price at 7/1 after Palace fell to a 2–1 defeat away at Sunderland. Conceding twice and leaving with nothing from the Stadium of Light has fuelled concerns that Palace are sliding back towards a relegation scrap. Following some uncensored comments to the media about a ‘lack of support’ from the Eagles hierarchy and the loss of their captain Marc Guehi to Manchester City has turned this January into a month to forget for Palace fans. If results do not pick up quickly, he could find himself edging closer to the top of the market.
