Scottish Premiership Betting Tips for Dundee Utd v Hearts

The William Hill Scottish Premiership enters Gameweek twenty-four of this campaign, with Hearts, Celtic and Rangers all battling it out for the title and domestic glory.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the Scottish Premiership..

Dundee United will welcome the William Hill Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts on Saturday night at Tannadice Park.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Scottish Premiership odds and betting angles for Saturday’s fixture:

Dundee Utd v Hearts – Saturday, 8pm

Punters can bet on Dundee Utd v Hearts with William Hill

  • It’s been a difficult campaign for Dundee United after last seasons heroics finishing fourth, the Tangerines have won just five of their twenty-two outings in the league so far whilst they seem to be the draw specialists with ten so far.
  • Jim Goodwin’s side will be hoping to bounce back from their last league game in which they lost 4-0 away at Celtic but they’ve lost just four times on home soil in this Scottish Premiership campaign.
  • The Terrors managed to pick up a point against Hearts in the reverse fixture but on home soil they tend to struggle against the side from Edinburgh, having won just one of their last eight meetings.
    ——————————–————————
  • Not many people had Hearts to be leading the way in Scotland after twenty-three games but that’s exactly what they are doing, having won fifteen games and losing just two, the Jam Tarts are six points clear of Celtic but just three of Rangers.
  • Derek McInnes’ side played out a 2-2 draw against the ten men of Celtic last weekend and despite playing away from home on Saturday, that won’t bother them too much given they have the best away record in the league (W7, D2, L2).
  • When these two sides meet at Tannadice it tends to produce goals, with four of the last five meetings seeing both teams scoring at least two goals, i’m going to back something similar in this one with Hearts to pick up another three points.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Hearts To Win, Dundee Utd 2-3 Hearts.
