Premier League Darts Night Two Predictions
The Premier League heads to Antwerp for Night Two, with the roadshow visiting Belgium for the first time and serving up a stacked quarter-final line-up.
Luke Littler and Luke Humphries collide in a blockbuster opener, while Michael van Gerwen looks to build on his Newcastle victory and Gian van Veen aims to rebound after reaching the Night 1 final.
Luke Littler (1/2) vs Luke Humphries (8/5)
Night Two opens with a repeat of last year’s Premier League final as world champion Luke Littler takes on defending league champion Luke Humphries. Both suffered early exits on Night One, so there’s little margin for error here. Littler remains odds-on in the outright market after his dominant start to 2026, but Humphries has been one of the few players to consistently push him deep in televised finals.
Prediction: With both players desperate to get points on the board, this has all the makings of a last-leg shootout. Humphries’ composure in tight matches and his record in this format just tip the balance, so he gets the nod to edge a 6-4 or 6-5 thriller.
Michael van Gerwen (4/5) vs Josh Rock (EVS)
Quarter-final two sees seven-time champion Michael van Gerwen meet Josh Rock. Van Gerwen was superb in Newcastle, winning Night One with a set of high-quality displays and reminding everyone why he still commands so much respect on this stage. Rock, meanwhile, produced a ton-plus average in defeat to Jonny Clayton and will feel he has unfinished business after that performance didn’t translate into points.
Prediction: Rock’s scoring is good enough to trouble anyone, but Van Gerwen’s Night One form and big-occasion experience make him a narrow pick to come through, perhaps 6-4, in another high-scoring clash.
Jonny Clayton (8/11) vs Stephen Bunting (11/10)
On the other side of the draw, Jonny Clayton faces Stephen Bunting. Clayton built nicely into Night One, beating Rock before running into the Van Gerwen train, and he tends to thrive in these weekly, short-format events where rhythm and checkout percentages are key. Bunting, tipped by many for a fast start to the season, couldn’t quite produce his top form in Newcastle and will be eager to show why he was recalled to the line-up.
Prediction: If Bunting finds his televised A-game this becomes a coin flip, but Clayton’s recent consistency and his historic success in the Premier League format make him the percentage play to progress, something like 6-3. game this becomes a coin flip, but Clayton’s recent consistency and his historic success in the Premier League format make him the percentage play to progress, something like 6-3.
Gerwyn Price (EVS) vs Gian van Veen (4/5)
The final quarter-final pairs Gerwyn Price with Gian van Veen. Price pushed Humphries hard on Night One and has looked close to a big run for several months, routinely posting high averages without always getting the reward. Van Veen enjoyed a breakout opening week, beating Littler and Clayton before losing to Van Gerwen in the final, but some of his recent floor results have been below that level.
Prediction: Van Veen is dangerous, yet Price’s scoring power and superior big-stage experience give him a clear route if he tidies up on doubles. A 6-4 win for the Welshman looks a solid call.
