William Hill Scottish Premiership: Celtic & Rangers Odds On For Wins

Value in Celtic at 15/2 to come from behind and win against Hibs, whilst an 8/1 offer on Rangers to win 2-1 also looks very appealing with William Hill.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the William Hill Scottish Premiership..

Each weekend in the William Hill Scottish Premiership brings drama on the title front and Sunday should be no different with two title contenders playing at 3pm.

Celtic welcome Hibernian to Celtic Park whilst bottom of the table Livingston will take on Rangers at The Home of the Set Fare Arena.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some William Hill Scottish Premiership odds and betting angles for Sunday’s fixtures:

Celtic v Hibernian – Sunday, 3pm

Punters can bet on Celtic v Hibernian with William Hill

  • Things are just a little bit sour at Celtic at the moment despite still in contention of picking up another domestic league table, they return to Celtic Park having suffered a 4-1 thumping against Stuttgart in the UEFA Europa League to all but confirm their exit in the competition.
  • Thursday night’s defeat here in the UEL was Martin O’Neil’s first defeat since taking over for the second time this season, not an ideal way to mark your 1000th game as a manager but with six wins from their previous seven meetings here against Hibs, the Hoops are 17/10 to win this one and both teams finding the net.
  • Celtic have been poor defensively in recent weeks which will be a concern in their title ambitions, they’ve now conceded nine goals in their last four games across all competitions, quite worrying.
    ——————————–————————
  • Hibernian travel to Glasgow having beat St Mirren 2-0 to bounce back from their late derby day defeat against Hearts, Saturday’s victory keeps David Gray’s side in fifth and now five points behind Motherwell in fourth.
  • The Hibees have lost each of their last three away games in all competitions and haven’t won at Celtic Park since a 2-1 victory back in 2010, Hibs are priced at 16/1 with William Hill to replicate that result on Sunday.
  • There’s definitely hope for Hibs in this one given Celtic’s recent defensive woes but i’m going to back Martin O’Neil to get the best out of his side once again on Sunday and get this one over the line but only just.

Prediction: Come From Behind And Win – Celtic (15/2), Celtic 2-1 Hibernian (13/2).

Livingston v Rangers – Sunday, 3pm

Punters can bet on Livingston v Rangers with William Hill

  • Livingston returned to the Scottish top-flight last season via the playoffs but they’ve failed to adapt to life back in the top-flight and sit bottom of the William Hill Scottish Premiership having won just one of their twenty-seven games so far.
  • Marvin Bartley is the man in charge of the Lions now but he’s struggled to really hit the ground running with a draw and two defeats in his first three games, it’s no surprise to see Livingston priced at 13/2 to pick up their second win of the season.
  • One thing in Livingston’s favour though is the fact they’ve been one of the most entertaining sides at home in the SPFL, they’ve scored in all but two of their thirteen games so far, with 85% of their home league games (11/13) seeing both teams on the scoresheet.
    ——————————–————————
  • Rangers are well and truly back in the title race now having beat the league leaders 4-2 on Sunday at Ibrox, it’s now just one defeat in their last fourteen games for Danny Rohl’s side ahead of this visit to Livingston.
  • The Gers are winless in their last three away games in all competitions but they should have enough to get the better in this one on Sunday afternoon, Rangers have won the two meetings this season 2-1, William Hill are offering 8/1 on the same scoreline on the price boost.
  • Rangers have won each of their last seven meetings against Livingston in all competitions, whilst they haven’t lost against the Lions in their last twenty-three outings, you have to go back to 2018 for their last defeat here.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Rangers To Win (19/10), Livingston 1-2 Rangers (8/1).
