Arsenal now clear favourites for Champions League following draw

Gunners 11/4 from 7/2; PSG, Real Madrid & Man City odds all drift

Arsenal are now the firm favourites to win the Champions League with William Hill.

Following today’s draw, the leading bookmaker have cut the Gunners from 7/2 to 11/4 after they were pitted against Bayer Leverkusen in the Round of 16 and will avoid all of PSG, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid until the final.

Having all been drawn on the same side, PSG (8/1 from 6/1), Man City (8/1 from 7/1) and Real Madrid (11/1 from 9/1) have all seen their odds drift.

Bayern Munich remain at 9/2 having also been drawn away from Arsenal, while Barcelona have been clipped to 6/1 from 8/1 and could meet the Gunners in the semis.

Chelsea and Liverpool have both ended up on the tougher side of the draw and are 18/1 and 7/1 respectively.

“The other side pits all of the other big guns against each other and as a result we’ve pushed out PSG, Man City, Real Madrid and Chelsea to bigger prices than they were pre-draw.

“Mikel Arteta’s side now find themselves odds-on for the Premier League and a short price for the Champions League as we get towards the business end of the season.”
