Olivia Dean Backed To Sing The Next James Bond Theme Song

Olivia Dean is the new favourite to sing the next James Bond film theme song with William Hill, after her show‑stealing weekend at the Brit Awards.

The 26‑year‑old Londoner, who won four awards on Saturday night, is now even-money at the head of the market to follow in the footsteps of Billie Eilish, Sam Smith and Adele as the franchise’s next title‑track vocalist.

The leading bookmaker makes Raye the second-favourite at 7/2, with Lana Del Rey at 4/1 as another prominent contender to front the iconic soundtrack.

Dua Lipa is a 7/1 chance, while Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus are priced at 10/1 and 12/1 respectively, as speculation grows over who will be handed one of the most coveted gigs in popular music.

Oasis are 12/1 for a shock reunion performance, with Chappell Roan and Charli XCX each available at 16/1 among the other names in the frame.

Who Will Sing The Next James Bond Film Theme Song?

Punters can bet on which artist will sing the next James Bond theme song at William Hill and here is the current state of the market:

  • Olivia Dean – EVS
  • Raye – 7/2
  • Lana Del Rey – 4/1
  • Dua Lipa – 7/1
  • Harry Styles – 10/1
  • Miley Cyrus – 12/1
  • Oasis – 12/1
  • Chappell Roan – 16/1
  • Charli XCX – 16/1
  • Bar – 20/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Olivia Dean’s Brit Awards clean sweep and live performance have clearly hit a high note with James Bond fans, and she’s now our even-money favourite to deliver the next 007 theme.

“Raye (7/2), Lana Del Rey (4/1) and Dua Lipa (7/1) remain major players in the betting, followed by Harry Styles at 10/1. Miley Cyrus and Oasis aren’t considered to be natural suitors for the song, hence their shared odds of 12/1.

“But after a weekend where Dean was crowned the UK’s new queen of pop, it’s no surprise that she’s most-fancied to open the credits in the next Bond film.”
