Scottish Cup quarter-final Odds: Value in Rangers v Celtic
Huge value in another 2-2 draw at 10/1 with William Hill in Rangers v Celtic on Sunday afternoon.
@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the Scottish Cup..
Just a week ago since these two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the William Hill Premiership, the two great rivals return to Ibrox to battle it out for a place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some Scottish Cup odds and betting angles for Sunday’s fixture:
Rangers v Celtic – Sunday, 1pm
Punters can bet on Rangers v Celtic with William Hill
- Rangers will be disappointed from Sunday’s draw having gone into the break 2-0 up, they were in control of this fierce derby but they simply didn’t turn up in the second half and Danny Rohl’s side will feel it’s two points dropped in the title race.
- The Gers now sit third in the Scottish top-flight, one point behind Celtic and six behind the league leaders Hearts but all that will be put to one side as they turn their attention to the Scottish Cup on Sunday, looking to claim their spot in the semi-final and hope to lift that trophy for the 35th time in May.
- Rangers are unbeaten in their last fourteen games on home soil across all competitions, this one will be a little different though given there will be 8,000 Celtic fans behind the goal at Ibrox, they are EVS with William Hill to win this one within ninety minutes.
——————————–———————— - Celtic made no mistake in midweek with their game in hand away at Aberdeen, a 2-1 victory has moved the Hoops to within five points of Hearts at the summit, they are now also unbeaten in their last eight games away from home in all competitions (W5, D3).
- Martin O’Neil’s side showed some real fight in the second half of this fixture last week but they simply cannot only show up for 45 minutes again here on Sunday, they lost in the final of this competition last year and will be looking to go one step further and make it 43 Scottish Cup triumphs.
- Celtic have been poor defensively in recent weeks so i wouldn’t be surprised to see this one full of goals, both sides will go at it once again and another draw wouldn’t surprise me, with extra-time and penalties possibly on the cards, Match To Go To Penalties is 5/1 with the leading bookmaker.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw (10/3), Rangers 2-2 Celtic (10/1) – Celtic To Win on Penalties (11/1)
