Can Bournemouth Hold United? Why the 13/5 Draw Is Hard to Ignore

All signs point to a draw here which looks appealing at 13/5 with William Hill, as does a 2-2 scoreline at 9/1.

Manchester United will make the long trip to the south coast on Friday evening where they’ll take on Bournemouth under the lights in the Premier League.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Friday’s fixture:

Bournemouth return to home soil having lost none of their last ten Premier League outings, yet there’s still some frustration for the Cherries given six of those ten have all ended in stalemates, including each of their last four, three of which failed to produce a goal.
These two sides played out one of the games of the season so far back in December at Old Trafford, a thrilling 4-4 draw extended Bournemouth’s unbeaten run against the Red Devils to five games in the Premier League (W2, D3), they are priced at 2/1 to win Friday night’s encounter with William Hill.
The Cherries should relish playing on a Friday evening as they’ve won three of their last four such games (L1), although given the last two meetings here also ended in a draw, all fingers point to another stalemate between the pair.

Manchester United bounced back from their sole defeat thus far under Michael Carrick with a 3-1 victory against fellow top four contenders Aston Villa last weekend, a victory which secured a a five point gap to Liverpool in fifth as they look to secure UEFA Champions League football for next season.
The Red Devils make the trip south having lost just two of their last twelve Premier League away games (W5, D5) but United don’t have the same impressive record as the Cherries when playing on a Friday night, having won just one of their last five away games played on a Friday.
There’s no doubt that Manchester United are a much-better side playing just once a week but this is another tough test for Carrick and co, it’s hard to ignore the fact that Bournemouth have drawn six of their last ten home games, you can both teams to score and the game to end in a draw at 10/3 with the leading bookmaker.

Prediction: Draw (13/5), Bournemouth 2-2 Manchester United (9/1).

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
