Mo Salah Next Club Odds: Egyptian King Set For Saudi Switch?

Mohamed Salah is even-money with leading bookmaker William Hill to join any Saudi club this summer after he confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

While Salah is fancied for a Saudi move, a transfer to MLS cannot be ruled out at 3/1 and is seen to be the natural alternative to the Saudi Pro League.

With the Middle East and North America set as the two most likely destinations, there is a low expectation the Egyptian will stay in Europe – but Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are both 12/1 to be his next port of call after Anfield.

A shock switch to Premier League rivals Newcastle, alongside potential moves to Galatasaray and former club Roma are all priced 16/1. Real Madrid are also in the frame to secure Salah’s services, but they are considered an outside shot in the betting at 18/1.

Mohamed Salah – To Sign For Before 1st September 2026 Odds:

  • Any Saudi Club – EVS
  • Any MLS Club – 3/1
  • Barcelona – 12/1
  • Paris Saint-Germain – 12/1
  • Newcastle United – 16/1
  • Galatasaray – 16/1
  • Roma – 16/1
  • Real Madrid – 18/1
  • Bar – 20/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Mohamed Salah’s decision to announce his Liverpool exit before the season ends has immediately shifted focus onto his next move, and from our point of view, a switch to Saudi Arabia is very much the likeliest outcome at even-money.

“MLS is the main overseas alternative at 3/1, while Newcastle are seen as the most likely Premier League landing spot at 16/1, but given the strength of Saudi interest in recent years, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him competing in the Saudi Pro League next season.

“A host of European destinations are also on the cards, such as PSG and Barcelona, but they’re considered outside chances at 12/1, followed by Turkish giants Galatasaray (16/1) and Salah’s former club Roma (16/1).”
