Iconic pop star tops social media sentiment following series opener; David Haye finishes bottom

Sinitta has emerged as the early fan favourite in the latest I’m A Celebrity All Stars sentiment survey, with exclusive data from William Hill Vegas revealing she has made the best impression on viewers following the opening episode of the new series.

Social listening analysis conducted via Brandwatch found that Sinitta has generated the highest proportion of positive social media reaction since the series opener, with 22% of all online mentions about her being favourable.

Olympic legend Mo Farah sits in second place with an 18% approval rating, while former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt and comedian Seann Walsh are tied in third on 16%.

Mid-table sees ex-footballer Jimmy Bullard (13%) and veteran manager Harry Redknapp (12%) maintaining steady support, while reality TV favourite Gemma Collins sits on 11%.

Further down the rankings, Adam Thomas and Ashley Roberts both register 10%, followed by Beverley Callard and Craig Charles on 9%.

Meanwhile, boxer David Haye finds himself at the bottom of the sentiment table, with just 3% positive reaction so far.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, commented: “Sinitta has come out of the blocks flying in this year’s I’m A Celebrity All Stars, and the public have clearly loved what they’ve seen so far. Topping the sentiment rankings with 22% positive reaction is no small feat, especially in such a competitive and nostalgic line-up.

“At the other end of the scale, David Haye has seemingly made the worst impression on the UK public, with just 3% of posts about the ex-boxer being positive after brutally sending Beverley Callard to the basic camp.”
