Chelsea Set To Tempt Coveted Manager Away From London Rivals?

| BY News Team

With Liam Rosenior out of the Stamford Bridge exit, William Hill News have looked at some of the leading contenders to be the next Chelsea manager and an unexpected figure has been popular in the betting…

No, it’s not Mikel Arteta – but how funny would that be? According to the latest betting moves, there has been support for Fulham manager Marco Silva to take over at Stamford Bridge.

While current AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iroala has already announced his intention to leave the club at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, Silva is now second favourite to be Chelsea’s fifth manager in the last five years.

Next Permanent Chelsea Manager Odds:

  • Andoni Iraola – 7/4
  • Marco Silva – 5/1
  • Cesc Fabregas – 11/2
  • Edin Terzic – 13/2
  • Filipe Luis – 7/1
  • Oliver Glasner – 9/1
  • Diego Simeone – 10/1
  • Frank Lampard – 10/1
  • Bar – 14/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Chelsea’s manager saga is one that will likely run throughout the rest of the season and the latest name to have been seriously touted for the role is Marco Silva.

“The current Fulham boss wasn’t among the leading contenders when the market went live yesterday evening, but we’ve seen a wave of support for him since and he’s now second in the betting at 5/1, with Filipe Luis taking a marked drift from 3/1 out to 7/1.

“Former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has also proved popular with punters and is a 13/2 chance having been double figures yesterday.”
