Premier League Saturday Tips: BTTS Draw at Brentford, Draw at St James’ & Sunderland Backed at 6/5

William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Saturday’s Premier League action from across the country.

Brentford v West Ham Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw (17/5), Brentford 2-2 West Ham (11/1).

Newcastle v Brighton Prediction: Draw (12/5), Newcastle 1-1 Brighton (11/2).

Wolves v Sunderland Prediction: Sunderland To Win (6/5), Wolves 0-1 Sunderland (6/1).

Saturday will see four games take place in the Premier League with more drama expected.

West Ham will make the trip across London to face Brentford, Brighton will travel to the north east to take on a struggling Newcastle United side at St James’ Park, whilst Wolves welcome a Sunderland side eager to bounce back from a humiliating defeat.

At 5.30pm, Arsenal will look to extend their lead at the top of the table when they welcome fellow Londoners Fulham to the Emirates Stadium.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:

Brentford v West Ham – Saturday, 3pm

View all available markets at William Hill.

  • Brentford are still on for a European spot in the Premier League but just seem to be faltering in these final games, without a win in their last six league games (D5, L1), the Bees have slipped to ninth albeit just one point off the top seven.
  • Keith Andrews’ side return to familiar surroundings following their 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford on Monday night, they welcome West Ham but having won just two of their last fifteen London derbies (D6, L7), the Bees might be quite concerned here.
  • Brentford are winless in their last six Premier League home games (D4 L2), with each of the last three finishing level. They last drew four consecutive home league games in March/April 2021 in the Championship, another stalemate here can be backed at 13/5 with William Hill.
    ——————————–
  • West Ham United left it late last weekend against Everton but a 92nd minute winner from Callum Wilson kept the Hammers out of the bottom three, they’ve got a two points gap to rivals Spurs in the bottom three with just four games left to play.
  • West Ham have lost seven of their nine Premier League games against Brentford (W1 D1), their highest loss rate against any side they’ve faced 5+ times in the competition, the Irons are 13/5 to improve that record here and take a vital three points.
  • The Hammers have won just one of their last six visits to Brentford which came back in 2023 in the FA Cup, but if they are to win here it’s likely they’ll need two or more goals as they’ve conceded in all nine of their Premier League games against the Bees.

Newcastle v Brighton – Saturday, 3pm

Think there’s value? See the current price at William Hill.

  • Newcastle United’s season is fizzling out after a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal last weekend made it five defeats in five games across all competitions, Eddie Howe remains a man under pressure with the Magpies now seven points off the top seven.
  • Despite returning to home soil, history suggests that Newcastle might have to wait even longer for a win given they’ve won just two of their seventeen Premier League games against Brighton, punters can back the Magpies at 6/4 with William Hill.
  • It has really been a dismal campaign for Newcastle, they’ve now lost 16 Premier League games this season, with seven coming at St James’ Park, both are their highest number of defeats in a campaign since 2020-21.
    ——————————–
  • Brighton extended their unbeaten run to five games in the Premier League after a big 3-0 victory against Chelsea in their last outing, a result which moved the Seagulls up to sixth, as they look to end the season with European football.
  • Fabian Hurzeler’s side have lost just two of their seventeen games this season against sides in the bottom half (W7, D8), whilst they travel to the north east having lost none of their last six meetings against the Magpies in all competitions.
  • We could be in for goals here but both teams finding the back of the net in eight of the last ten meetings, William Hill have Brighton priced at 10/11 on the ‘Draw No Bet’ market which could be good value.

Wolves v SunderlandSaturday, 3pm

View all Premier League odds and markets.

  • Wolves are already relegated and picked up their twenty-third defeat of the Premier League campaign last weekend against Tottenham Hotspur but all three of their wins have come on home soil, with two coming in the last three outings.
  • The Old Gold have been bottom of the Premier League for the last 31 matchdays but now sit just three points behind Burnley with four games left to play, the aim now must be to leapfrog the Clarets.
  • Wolves are 11/5 with William Hill to beat Sunderland on Saturday but having lost all four of their league games thus far against the promoted sides, including a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture, this might be another big ask.
    ——————————–
  • Sunderland owe it to their fans in this one having suffered a 5-0 thumping in their last outing against Nottingham Forest, a side battling to stay in the top-flight. The embarrassing defeat has seen the Black Cats drop to twelfth but still just three points off the top seven.
  • Régis Le Bris’ will be hoping his side can become the first Sunderland side to finish in the top ten of the Premier League since the 2010/2011 campaign, it’s 6/5 with William Hill for the Black Cats to bounce back here with a win.
  • Sunderland are yet to lose a Premier League game they scored first in this season, so getting themselves in front could prove vital on Saturday but too many goals aren’t expected from the away side who have scored just thirteen goals away from home in the league.
