12.55 Lingfield – 1m2f William Hill Epic Boosts Handicap
New trainer Oli Rix can showcase his talents with his four-year-old gelding NOBLE HORIZON.
Formerly trained by William Haggas, this son of Kingman put in a couple of great efforts at York at the end of last season and can kick start his new campaign with a solid run over this 1m2f trip.
1.15 Haydock – 2m Swinton Handicap Hurdle
Alan King’s HELNWEIN has been knocking on the door all season long and can finally get his just rewards for his Noel Fehily syndicated owners in a significant premier handicap.
Second earlier in the season in the Greatwood Hurdle, that form is very strong and he’s a massive each-way player today.
1.28 Lingfield – 1m3½f William Hill Oaks Trial Fillies’ Stakes
ROMANTIC SYMPHONY (NAP) won on her two-year-old debut over a mile and returned to win on her three-year-old reappearance over 1m3f on the AW.
Trading at around 9/4 in our current market, she’s clearly going to take all the beating in this trial.
1.45 Ascot – 1m EBF Fillies’ Handicap
Proven over this distance SONG N DANCE (NB) can prove her worth by landing this handicap. Danny Tudhope is the ideal jockey to bring the filly home in front.
1.58 Lingfield – 1m3½f William Hill Lingfield Derby Trial Stakes
Ralph Beckett’s BAY OF BRILLIANCE can show his fans just how brilliant he actually is with a victory in this Derby Trial.
Currently a 5/1 shot in our sports betting, the New Bay-colt chalked up back-to-back victories at both Goodwood and Redcar last season and will be a much stronger horse as a three-year-old.
2.20 Ascot – 7f Victoria Cup Handicap
HUMAM dwelt at the start three weeks ago at Newmarket and can put in a much better effort with a better break today.
The 90-rated four-year-old recorded a top-class victory and time in a York handicap last season and at odds of 20/1, is well worth an each-way flutter in front of the ITV cameras.
2.40 Lingfield – 7f William Hill Chartwell Fillies’ Stakes (Group 3)
Music and passion will be totally in fashion at Lingfield this weekend should COPACABANA SANDS dance to glory in this Group 3 for fillies.
Already a comfortable Group 3 winner at Leopardstown last June, Andrew Balding’s new recruit can put her rivals to the sword.
2.55 Ascot – 1m4f Handicap
Owen Burrows is a very able trainer and his charge AL WASL STORM can pick up where he left off last season by taking this handicap.
The grey colt won with aplomb at Newbury last August and can go onto greater things in this middle-distance division.
3.15 Lingfield – 7½f William Hill Each Way Extra Handicap
Jame Fanshawe’s BACK IN BLACK ran a stormer in the Spring Cup at Newbury three weeks ago and can kick on again from that effort.
The Dark Angel-gelding should give punters a good run for their money in the final ITV televised race of the day.
