WWE Night of Champions 2026 Predictions: Cody Rhodes to Retain?
WWE heads to the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Saturday with titles, crowns, and cage doors all up for grabs. William Will News previews the card and predicts how each fight may unfold.
The card is stacked from top to bottom, but all eyes will be on the Undisputed WWE Championship main event, where Cody Rhodes defends his title against two of WWE’s most dangerous competitors in Gunther and Sami Zayn.
Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship
- Cody Rhodes – 1/4
- Sami Zayn – 3/1
- Gunther – 11/2
Our Prediction: Cody Rhodes To Win
The main event sees Cody Rhodes enter as the clear favourite to leave Riyadh with the Undisputed WWE Championship still around his waist.
The American Nightmare is currently odds-on to retain his title, and it’s easy to see why. Rhodes remains WWE’s top babyface and continues to be positioned at the centre of the company’s biggest storylines heading into the summer. WWE has spent the last year building Rhodes as the face of the promotion, and it would be a surprise to see that momentum halted here.
Gunther certainly presents the biggest threat. The Ring General rarely loses cleanly and remains one of the most protected stars on the roster. However, with Rhodes already having unfinished business elsewhere and SummerSlam looming on the horizon, this feels more like another chapter in Cody’s title reign than the end of it.
As for Sami Zayn, his inclusion adds intrigue rather than genuine title-winning credentials. Zayn is capable of stealing the show, but the odds suggest he’s the outsider of the three and it would take a major booking swerve for him to walk away as champion.
Jey Uso edges King of the Ring final
- Jey Uso – 8/11
- Oba Femi – EVS
Our Prediction: Jey Uso To Win
One of the closest markets on the card is the King of the Ring final between Jey Uso and Oba Femi. The odds suggest this could go either way, but Jey Uso gets the nod. WWE has spent the last 18 months elevating Uso into a genuine singles star and a King of the Ring victory would be another major milestone in that journey.
Oba Femi has all the tools to become a future world champion and his rise feels inevitable. However, with SummerSlam opportunities attached to tournament success, Uso looks the safer play.
IYO SKY too strong in Queen of the Ring
- Iyo Sky – 1/10
- Liv Morgan – 11/2
Our Prediction: Iyo Sky To Win
IYO SKY is one of the shortest-priced favourites anywhere on the Night of Champions card, and it’s difficult to argue against her chances.
Liv Morgan remains one of WWE’s most popular stars, but SKY has consistently been presented as one of the elite performers in the women’s division. With momentum firmly behind her, this feels like her tournament to lose.
Other picks
Elsewhere, Trick Williams (1/20) looks set for a comfortable United States Championship defence against Ricky Saints (8/1) after being installed as one of the biggest favourites on the show. Jade Cargill narrowly gets the vote against Tiffany Stratton in what could be one of the most competitive title matches of the evening, while Bron Breakker (2/7) is fancied to emerge victorious in his steel cage clash with Seth Rollins (5/2).
Whatever happens, Night of Champions looks set to deliver another memorable chapter in WWE’s blockbuster 2026 calendar, but when the dust settles, expect Cody Rhodes to once again stand tall in the main event.
