Cincinnati Open Final Predictions 2026: Best Bets For Sunday’s Showpiece Matches
Both finals of the Cincinnati Open take place on Sunday. Here are William Hill’s top tennis betting picks.
Cincinnati Open Tips Sunday:
- Arthur Fils -2.5 games (8/11)
- Both players to win a set (5/4)
Arthur Fils vs Frances Tiafoe Prediction
We will have a first-time Masters champion on Sunday with Arthur Fils taking on Frances Tiafoe. It’s only the second meeting between the players after Fils beat Tiafoe at the Miami Open last year.
Both players made light work of their semi-final duels. Tiafoe has only dropped one set in the tournament, which came against Learner Tien in the third round. The same goes for Fils, who was a semifinalist in Madrid and Miami.
Despite reaching a Masters final in Cincinnati a couple of years ago, Tiafoe has had much less success at this level than Fils. It’s clearly an event the American enjoys, but there’s not much of a track record to suggest he can beat a player of the standard Fils has been at of late.
The Frenchman is rightly favoured here. He’s climbed to 11th in the rankings and will be in the top 10 before long.
Jessica Pegula vs Coco Gauff Prediction
It’s an all-American affair in the women’s final after Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff saw off Iga Świątek and Sára Bejlek, respectively, in the last four.
Pegula has won five of the nine meetings to date. Gauff got the better of her compatriot at Wimbledon, however, coming from a set down. Pegula beat Gauff in the 2025 WTA Finals.
Gauff is in brilliant form. She’s not dropped a set since the second round. Pegula saw off an in-form Świątek on Saturday, though, and has a WTA 1000 title to her name this year. Gauff lost finals in Rome and Miami.
Consecutive meetings have gone the distance. This should be another hard-fought encounter.
