Meghan Markle tipped for Bridgerton role
Leading bookmaker William Hill have priced up which UK series Meghan Markle could return to acting in, with Bridgerton leading the betting.
The Netflix series is the shortest-priced option at 3/1, with the new season of the hit period drama set to arrive in 2027.
Rivals is next in the betting at 5/1, followed by Black Doves and the untitled Netflix ‘Polo Drama’, both at 8/1.
Meghan could have a stint in reality TV, with The Celebrity Traitors priced at 12/1, while any other TV show is available at 6/4.
With Meghan already rumoured to appear in the next season of The Gentlemen, that show is excluded from the market.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Bridgerton leads the betting at 3/1 for Meghan Markle’s next TV feature and looks an intriguing option if she does decide to pursue a return to acting, particularly with the hugely popular Netflix series due to return in 2027.
“With her reported involvement in The Gentlemen now surrounded by uncertainty, another major Netflix role could certainly be an interesting next chapter for the former Suits star.
“We’ve also priced Meghan at 16/1 to appear in the next Bond film. However, with casting already under way and the film not due for release until 2028, that looks a less likely prospect for her next acting role.”
